2008 Scholarship Recipients

      The Indiana State School Bus Drivers Association is pleased to announce the selection of Michelle Steinbarger Shelbyville IN and Whitney Warner  Alexandria, IN as the 2007 scholarship recipients.

Michelle Steinbarger of near Shelbyville , Indiana has been selected as one of the 2008 scholarship recipients . Michelle is the daughter of member Michael  & Angie Steinbarger. Michelle graduated from Southwestern High School ( Shelby County) . She is a member of National Honor Society, FFA, Student Council and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Michelle has been involved in numerous activities including basketball, track, volleyball, and Junior Leaders just to name a few. She is also listed  in Who's Who Among American High School Students, National Honor Roll, Academic Achiever and National Society of High School Scholars. Michelle will attend Purdue University and major in the field of Food Science. Michelle has had a very successful high school career and the Indiana State School Bus Drivers Association  " Wish her Good Luck and Best Wishes for a succcessful future" .

Whitney Warner of near Alexandria has also been selected as a 2008 scholarship recipient. Whitney is the daughter of member Chuck & Trena Warner.  Whitney gradutated from Alexandria-Monroe High School. She is a member of National Honor Society, Student Council, and Varsity Quiz Bowl. Whitney is also a ten year 4-H member and has participated in numerous activities including volleyball, catholic youth organization,  and Teens against tobacco use just to name a few. Whitney graduated  as valedictorian of her class.  She will attend Ball State University. Whitney has had a very successful high school career and the Indiana State School Bus Drivers Association  " Wish her Good Luck and Best Wishes for a successful future".


The Indiana State School Bus Drivers Association is made up of certified school bus drivers throughout the State of Indiana.
